O CHÃO LÁ DE CASA (the floor there at home) is a 122 page publication, part of my thesis project for the drama course at the university of são paulo (USP).

the project was an investigation of childhood memories I gathered from people in my family, driven by questions concerning time, suspension and memory in itself. the publication consisted in something of a diary - a combination of text with a poetic and reflexive tone and visual solutions coming from the universe of sequential art. the result for this process was “o chão lá de casa”, basically a whole lot of 6B graphite pencil on sulphite paper

I LIKE FOOD is a comic collection developed for the 2022 Shortbox Comic Fair, an online all-digital fair featuring comics and artists from all around the world. I LIKE FOOD gathered a couple of short stories regarding food - its potential for building communities, accessing generational memory and connecting oneself with their own subjectivity. Besides the stories, the collection also featured a couple of family recipes and general recipes very dear to me for a number of reasons.

SINKHOLE developed for the 2023 SBCF, collects four short experimental comics revolving around questions of shape, loneliness, detachment, and the materials that make the world. "My House is Made Of" follows the attempts of communication between two mysterious figures, and reflects on potential vulnerability, intimacy and danger surrounding the spaces we live in. In "Vigil", a diary-like narrative tells the story of a person struggling with insomnia and unsettling night visions. In "Osso", a young girl makes a somewhat disturbing discovery while crossing a mirror during a game of hide and seek. Finally, "The Materials of My Love" is a poem in composition with a diffuse narrative about a lonely figure reaching for the materials that make love.
